I found this lovely Pictorial book in an antique store in Kentucky, USA. Something about being in the South and taking a look back at the life and the architecture of that day when plantation homes were the norm, is oddly satisfying. Please don't view this video as an homage to our sad history of slavery but look at this as a purely historical look at our architectural past and the buildings some lived in. The book is very factual about the buildings themselves. Very little is spoken about the way things came to be.
