If you don't have a barbell, you can load up a laundry basket, file box or sturdy cardboard box with soup cans, water bottles, bags of sugar, flour, beans or rice. Learn how to progress the amount of weight you lift and also how to figure out your maximum weight lifting limit. You'll also need to wear shoes to protect your feet in case you drop the box and a broomstick to ensure proper spine alignment!
