Cricklade is a small town in north Wiltshire. A river crossing point for the Romans, it was fortified by the Saxons under Alfred the Great and at one point housed the royal mint - coins were produced here in the reign of Henry the First.
Cricklade was awarded Champion of Champions in Britain in Bloom 2011.
