Rescue workers pulled a survivor from beneath the rubble of a factory in Greece on Thursday two days after a powerful earthquake struck Athens.
The 40-year old woman, who had been trapped for 46 hours, held on as rescue workers pulled her from the rubble with a broken neck and leg.
Meanwhile Israeli rescue crews continued to search the site for more survivors from the quake that has claimed at least 75 lives and left dozens of others missing.
After almost 11 hours of work, a French rescue team in the Menidi suburb in Athens was close to pulling the female survivor from under the rubble.
The video of the rescue, which was shot by the French team, vividly shows the slow process of the rescue operation.
The 40-year old woman had been trapped for 46 hours with a broken neck and leg amongst the rubble of the factory in which she had worked.
The factory crumbled like a house of cards during the earthquake two days ago.
As French rescue workers got closer they pleaded with her not to give up hope and to hold tight while her family members waited anxiously.
After round-the-clock efforts rescue worker pulled her from the rubble to the applause of the crowd.

"At first she thought that she would not make it but we told her, 'No you will make it' and we encouraged her and she took strength in that."

She is the third person to be rescued alive from the Ricomex detergent factory in the last 24 hours.
More than 10 people remain trapped under the rubble.
Israeli rescuers with sniffer dogs have also arrived at the factory site and are searching for more survivors.
The quake has claimed at least 75 lives and left many others missing.
