I was never a huge fan of the older Crusi'n games. Not because I think they're bad I just never played them all that much. I didn't own an N64 back when those games came out and I maybe played the original arcade once or twice! I thought the arcade was okay but back then it bothered me when racing games had unlicensed cars that tried to look like real cars. I know. It's dumb!
This game is over the top. It's fast, it's furious and it's silly to the point it's basically a parody of arcade racing games in general! It's fun and easy to pickup with lots of variety in the tracks (thought it could use a little more tracks) and the controls feel fast and responsive. I'm not sure how it runs (30 or 60 FPS?) but it looks fine on the small screen.
