The powered left speaker sporadically stops working. Sometimes when moving or touching the speaker, but it also just cuts in and out on it's own. Maybe vibrations agitating a bad connection? Tapping the top of the speaker is the only way I've found to bring it back online.
The passive speaker continues to play normally when the active one is not working. This seems to be a common failure with the YU6's.
Very loud hiss from both speakers. At high volume or bass the powered driver sounds like it's blown.
The dust cover for the powered speaker was already unsealed - the tape had been removed and stuck onto the side of the cover. This implies it has been opened before, or is possibly even a repackaged customer return.
Some minor dents to the sides of both speakers, and some light scrapes on the back of the passive unit is further evidence they are not new.
