The high court's decision to dismiss the FIRs against Kumar Vishwas and Tajinder Bagga of the BJP, according to opposition parties in Punjab, was a "huge embarrassment" for AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and a "serious indictment" of how the Punjab Police was conducting itself while the AAP was in power. "I think the Punjab government must let the matter rest here," Piyush Joshi said. "It was Arvind Kejriwal who was behind the FIR. "How often do you see an FIR being filed at 4 PM and police leaving for another state at 4 AM the next morning?" Tajinder Bagga asks. "Democracy is not run purely on the basis of law.
