Hello Travelers & Tourists!
Welcome to the first video in a new series I hope to slowly fill out in the coming months - a deep dive into Spellcasting in Pathfinder 2nd Edition! I am a huge fan of spell casters in any TTRPG, and despite some online debates about spell casting in Pathfinder 2nd Edition, I find there is a lot to love about Paizo's approach to this classic fantasy trope!
Still, I also know that a lot of people feel overwhelmed by Spellcasting rules & the overwhelming amount of options they present. So, in this series, I want to dive into the ins & outs of spellcasting in Pathfinder 2nd Edition!
In this video, I want to take a look at the "Basic Spellcasting Rules" found in the Player Core's Spellcasting chapter! These six pages cover about 90% of what you need to know to be able to function effectively as a spell caster in this game, and grasping these basic rules will carry you an incredible distance.
Here are some time stamps to help you navigate this video:

In future videos, I will dive into other Spellcasting topics that are a little more complicated or involved, such as Traits, Spellshape Rules, Counteracting, Rituals, "Wave" Casting Classes, & Variant Spellcasting. If there are specific topics you'd like to see me cover as part of this series, please let me know!
I want these videos to be a resource to anyone trying to learn more about playing a Spellcaster in Pathfinder 2nd Edition.
