Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of visiting Haute Dolci in London while visiting family, and I was blown away by their desserts and ambiance. So, when they announced their grand opening in Glasgow, I knew I had to visit!
Let me tell you—this place is everything I’ve been missing from my time in Dubai. Glasgow has been in dire need of a fully halal fine dining spot, and Haute Dolci fills that gap beautifully. The ambiance is simply stunning, from the luxurious décor to the cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere.
We opted for their sweet and savory set menu (they have an A La Carte menu too - don’t worry), priced at £40 (with an extra £5 for the famous Matilda cake, making it £45 total).
For starters, we chose the Firecracker Chicken (spicy!) and Dynamite Chicken. The portion sizes were generous for appetizers. For mains, we had the Hot & Juicy Burger and the Classy Chick Burger with fries on the side—perfectly sized, not too big, not too small. Drinks? Orange juice and sparkling water with lime kept things refreshing.
I finally got to try the viral Matilda Cake, and as a chocolate lover, I can say it absolutely lives up to the hype! We also had the Kunafa Croffle, which didn’t disappoint. Paired with Blue Sapphire and Vanilla Spiced Chai, it was the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
Some may think Haute Dolci is a bit pricey, but you’re paying for more than just the food. You’re investing in a fine dining experience with exceptional customer service—even during their crowded grand launch, the staff didn’t miss a beat.
I’ve officially found my new go-to spot in Glasgow, and with Chaiiwala next door, it’s a match made in heaven! 🥹✨
