CORNWALL 2021
Here is a video I've put together from our recent trip to the stunning Cornish coast. We visited St Ives, Porthcuno, Pedn Vounder, Hayle, Lands End, Newquay and much more. One of the highlights for me was to watch the Seals at Godrevy Point, especially the one feeding in a rock pool litterally 5 feet away.
I hope you enjoy the video.

TIMESTAMP
0.00 - 1.53 Porthkidney Beach, Hayle
A beautiful little spot where the beach seems to go all the way around onto St Ives. Crescent-shaped beach to the side of a river mouth, with a vast expanse of sand at low tide. Used for Surfing.
1.53 - 3.00 Kennack Sands
The beach is used for recreation and divided into two by an outcrop of rocks called the Caerverracks. Beware the beach is quite rough on your feet with the pebbles but it has some stunning views with 2 beach areas, Kennack Sands west and Kennack Sands East. The rock that splits the beaches is called Caerverracks and the hill above this Carn Kennack. There is a path that runs over Carn Kennack allowing access to the east beach which is a designated nature reserve.
3.00 - 4.40 Godrevy Point
Godrevy was simply stunning and turned out to be one of our favourite spots. In the day when the tide comes in you can relax right next to the sea and even find your own little coves. In the evening the sunset is beautiful as shown in this video. Plus the added bonus of seals appearing everywhere. When the tide goes out it's ideal for Rockpools and as shown in the video you may even spot a seal in a Rockpool right next to you.
4.40 - 5.08 Logan Rock
The Logan Rock near the village of Treen in Cornwall, England, UK, is an example of a logan or rocking stone. Although it weighs some 80 tons, it was dislodged in 1824 by a group of British seamen, intent on showing what the Navy could do.
It overlooks Porthcurno and Pedn Vounder plus wild horses can be found at the summit. The views of the turquoise seas where spectacular.
5.08 - 5.42 Minack Theatre Views
The Minack is a unique open air theatre perched on the cliffs high above the Atlantic ocean. Built by one extraordinary woman Rowena Cade who's actually from my home area, Derbyshire.
5.42 - 6.18 Pedn Vounder
Firstly let me say the walk down can be very tricky and this is known as a nudist spot. We parked in a small village called Treen and made the short walk heading along the SW Coast trail. The views are well worth the visit even if you don't descend onto the beach.
6.18 - 6.48 Porthcurno
A lovely beach with an incredible turquoise sea. The only issue we found was it can get rather windy. But, the views again are well worth the visit.
6.48 - 7.35 Lands End
Almost everyone will of heard of Lands End. The end of the Country with many making the long journey here from John O' Groates.
7.35 - 7.55 St Levan Church
A lovely little church situated near the Minack theatre which also offers hikers from the SW Coast trail free water and snacks.
7.55 - 8.45 Glendurgan Gardens & Durgan
The National Trust's Glendurgan Garden, Cornwall, is made of three valleys full of fun, natural beauty and amazing plants. As we got to the far end we found a little spot called Durgan with gorgeous views and it's really quiet.
8.45 - End Godrevy Seals & Rockpools
What an amazing holiday we had exploring Cornwall and to end on the final day with a seal right next to us at the Rockpools was incredible. We also visited Newquay on the way home at a private beach called Lusty Glaze.
