Hello! Aasiujusi! Kwe! Shekoli! Oki! There are so many ways to greet someone. On our recent visit to the North American Indigenous Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia, we stopped to chat with Indigenous teen athletes from all over Turtle Island and we asked them how they say hello in their languages. It was so cool to learn some new ways to say hi. Did you know any of these already? How do you say hello in your language?
