A Maryland State Police (MDSP) trooper is injured after being struck by another driver while sitting in a work zone on Interstate 495 in Silver Spring on Monday, according to the agency. Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation and consultation with the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
