In today's video I show you the step by step process of how to completely remove the headlight assembly from the 2017-2021 Yamaha R6! This is the FULL VIDEO a bit longer then usual for me but it shows you every single step needed to get this job done. I will also release a removal and install video separately to shorten down the overall length of the watch time!
Before doing any work on your bike please remember to either disconnect or remove your battery.
Step 1 - Remove Windshield
Step 2 - Remove Front Cowling
Step 3 - Remove Fairings
Step 4 - Remove Front Lower Panels
Step 5 - Remove/Unclip Left & Right DRL Couplers
Step 6 - Disconnect Atmospheric Pressure Sensor
Step 7 - Disconnect Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Step 8 - Disconnect Meter Coupler
Step 9 - Disconnect Two Headlight Couplers
Step 10 - Pull Wires Out From Clamp
Step 11 - Remove Two Push Pins
Step 12 - Remove Four Screws
Step 13 - Remove Headlight Assembly
Step 14 - Install Headlight Assembly
Step 15 - Install Four Assembly Screws
Step 16 - Make Sure Wires Are In Proper Spots
Step 17 - Connect Two Headlight Couplers
Step 18 - Connect Intake Air Temperature Sensor
Step 19 - Connect Atmospheric Pressure Sensor
Step 20 - Connect Meter Coupler
Step 21 - Connect/Install Left & Right DRL Couplers
Step 22 - Install Front Lower Panels
Step 23 - Install Two Push Pins
Step 24 - Install Fairings
Step 25 - Install Front Cowling
Step 26 - Install Windshield
