The Kuhn LSB 870 is a 3 foot x 2 foot Square Baler (80cm x 70cm) – it is the smallest large square baler in its class and the only Kuhn square baler that runs a single tie knotter system. It comes standard with rotter feed, auto-greaser and electric tie, which gives you a greater baler length consistency and bale drop sensor.

The Kuhn single feeder fork system works at twice the speed of the plunger, continuously clearing the entrance of the pre-chamber and distributing the crop into the chamber. As the pre-chamber is filled to 100%, pressure is exerted on the wedges which overcome the wedge set point and allow the feeder to take an extended stroke, sweeping the pre-compressed flake up into the bale chamber where the plunger compresses the crop to form a dense bale.

The LSB 870 come standard with over load clutches for you pick, rotor and feeder fork, so you can have peace of mind that if a foreign object goes into your machine, it will get stopped before doing any damage.
