Dark souls is an action role-playing hack and slash video game, set in an open world environment. Developed and published for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by "from software" in japan and by namco Bandai games internationally. A spiritual successor from software's Demon's soul, dark souls began development under the working title "project dark".

Dark souls takes place in the fictional Kingdom of lordran. Players assume the role of a cursed human character that has been Chosen to make a pilgrimage out of the "Undead asylum" to discover the fate of the undead. The plot of dark souls is primarily told trough descriptions of in-game items and dialogue whit none-playable characters. (NPC's).
Players must piece together what vague information they obtain in order to understand the story, rather than having it laid out by the game. Dark souls Garnered recognition due to its grueling difficulty and unforgiving challenge.

My tip for you!
When you get to the bonfire here at undead burg, the first one, take your time to practice your skills so the journey ahead will be slight easier.
Practice parry and back attacks! If you get good at these things, things will get easier for you, not werry easy just a bit. These things are good to know anyway.
I level up here and practice, and so you know, bows and arrows are good to have to!
Get them, when you see a lot of enemies at one spot they all can chain pull at the same time so if you have a bow you can lure one at the time!
And further in to the game you will be able to buy poison arrows; you get what I'm thinking?
So bows and arrows can't go wrong!
By the way, when I run up the tower after a undead punches a fire barrel on me? After that I open a door ...for heaven's sakes do not go down there just jet, that dude is too tough for you right now.
