Martin D-X1E Koa // Is HPL Any Better Than Solid Wood?

Tons of people own one, but don't even know they do so. A guitar that is High Pressure Laminated. This Martin Koa is one just like that, but after recording this video we thought to ourselves, damn it sounds really good, and it doesn't seem to lose a lot of high and detail and low end fullness.
