The difficulty of this fight centers around a choice that is completely up to you. While it is most noticeable with Agria, both of these characters are heavily depended on elemental attacks. If you have water-absorption, then you won't have to bother healing because Presa will have you covered. If you have fire-absorption, then the only way Agria is going to kill you is if you purposely try to die. With high-elemental resistance and the Elemental gem, you can get trapped in a combo for a lengthy amount of time, but don't expect to die anytime soon. Me being me, I didn't go for the Red Cape, the Blue Cape, or the Elemental gem. I also removed the Auto Aid skills.

...and that made this battle very very difficult. Can you blame me? Neither Agria or Presa would stand a chance against Elize if I had high-resistance or elemental-absorption. What words could best describe the situation. Oh, I know!

Of course, their is a hole in their formation. Getting through that made this fight a bit more relaxing.

Let's start with the biggest problem first. I doubt I have to say it, but here it is. Getting stunned. I know. Obviously, right? It is way too easy for Agria and Presa to inflict stun. The attacks that do so are extremely fast. Agria's attack is faster than Presa's and it's difficult to back-step, but Presa's attack has a strange hit-box that goes around her whole body (it can hit you while you are in the air).

Now that's not the only thing bringing your attempts to an end. By using Splash or Diffusional Drive, Presa can lock you down while Agria nibbles away at your HP. Agria has the same potential (due to the length of artes like Flame Drill), but only at close-range. Just like Wingul, Agria has Flame Ring, so the Flame Ring/Guardian Field combination returns (and it is still just as bad as before).

If you can avoid getting stunned or hit with Splash, Diffusional Drive, Guardian Field, Flame Drill, or Flame Ring, then you'll be happy to know that you'll avoid dying a slow death, but what about a quick death?

Ladies and gentlemen? Meet Raging Mist.

Similar to Sunburst, this is a fire spell. Similar to Diffusional Drive, this is hard to avoid. Unlike both those spells, you can not stop Agria and Presa from casting it, and they have the ability to cast it right away without having to chant the required spell to begin the Linked Arte. If Agria is the one who casts the spell, then simply guard the spell. There is a huge chance that Agria will run over to you and attempt to stab and stun you once she is done (Presa won't do that on the other hand).

Now, here's how you can make the battle easy! Focus on weakening one of them. Both Agria and Presa have two phases. During Phase 2, Presa will start casting Diffusional Drive and Blue Sphere more often, and Agria will start casting Sunburst more often. This leaves them open for much longer, giving you more time to stop them from casting and more time to focus on one of them without as much interference as before.

Okay, now this part is really important! Whenever they link up, as long as you don't give them enough time to act, they'll remain linked up even when you knock them down. How long this lasts for? I'm not sure, but make the most out of it! If they remain linked up for too long, or they've done too many attacks, they'll break the link on their own after recovering from knockdown or flinching. Well, that's it. Special mention goes to Agria who still has Summon Spirits, Grand Fire (which pierces straight through your guard), and she doesn't use items.
