A Southern Shorthaul grain train operating on the broad gauge line approaches Gheringhap Loop. The hoppers consist of 3 distinct types - former Victorian Railways VHAF's, a lone NSWGR BWH dating form the 1960s, and ex-NSW coal hoppers that have been converted to carry grain. Many of the hoppers carry colourful artwork.
The five EMD diesel locomotives have all been in service for over 60 years, having commenced their working lives with the Victorian Railways in the 1950s. P16's conversion from a T class occurred over 35 years ago.
