Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has written to President Museveni demanding the arrest of soldiers belonging to the elite Special Forces Command, which secures the president, members of the military police and any other soldiers who allegedly tortured Members of Parliament, journalists and other civilians after the Arua violence.
Kadaga says the security operatives violated the Prevention and Prohibition of Torture Act and they should be brought to book.
