This is an abridged version of a story about Havili and Taufa'ahau according to Albert Taufu who related it to Gifford (in Journal of the Polynesian Society 56(4), by W.H. Newell, 1947, p. 405). The stop motion was done by Ezra and Taine when they were 9 and 7 years old in 2018. They researched Tongan weaponry as well as rock art, which they used as inspiration for their drawings to illustrate this story. This is bonus footage for the documentary film Kava Rootz.
