Just days before the Modi government will present its maiden budget, Rangarajan panel's report on poverty line has been released. With the former RBI governor revisiting Tendulkar panel's poverty line figures, Rangarajan panel recommends that those earning less than Rs 32 per day in villages and less than Rs 47 in urban areas are considered poor.
