Inside of Stutthof Concentration Camp during the Second World War were a number of female guards who were brutal and barbaric. Jenny Wanda Barkmann was known as 'Mad Jenny' by the other prisoners as she would execute and torture with her bare hands. She would send many people to their deaths and what shocked many is the fact that she was just a young woman of her early 20s. She was an immensely brutal woman, and was known as 'The Beautiful Spectre,' however at the end of the war she went on the run.

After a few months, Jenny Barkmann was arrested and she was then brought to trial for her actions at Stutthof. She was then sentenced to death for crimes against humanity and she was then at just the age of 24 taken to a huge hill in Gdansk for her execution. In front of around 200,000 people on a huge gallows one of the most evil female guards of the concentration camp system was executed.
