This is a super supreme cabbage casserole..If you want the gluten free and low carb version, this is it…Soooo good and healthy. Recipe for gluten free and low carb
4 cups roughly chopped cabbage
2 cups chopped ham
1 chopped onion, medium
1/2 cup sliced sweet bell peppers
1 cup sliced tomatoes…I perfer half ripe or green
1/2 cup Mayo
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder , onion powder , salt, and pepper
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cup grated cheese os choice
1 cup pork rind panko..original
Preheat oven 350 degrees
In a small bowl, mix your mayo, sour cream, and seasonings..whisk together until smooth ..set aside
In 9x13 casserole dish, place your cabbage on bottom of buttered dish..add cabbage,then ham, peppers , onions , tomatoes ..spoon sauce over this making sure to cover all veggies good..
Top with pork rind panko and cheese.
Bake 35-45 minutes on 350 degrees
Original recipe
6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
1 Chopped onion, medium
1 cup mayo
1 cup cream chicken soup
1/2 stick butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup cheese of choice
1 sleeve ritz crackers,,crushed
1/2 stick butter
Mix mayo, cream of chicken soup salt pepper and 1/2 cup melted butter together..set aside
In a 9x13 casserole dish place your cabbage ..lay your onions over cabbage ..spoon your soup mixture over that..
Top with crackers and cheese
Bake 35-45 minutes on 350 degrees
