Crohn’s perianal fistulas (CPF) are a severe and disabling complication of Crohn’s disease (1) that can severely impact patient quality of life (QoL)(2). Despite this burden, few studies have assessed their impact from the patient perspective (3,4).
To help address this, The European Federation of Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis Associations (EFCCA), in collaboration with Takeda, commissioned and conducted a survey to understand not just the health-related impact, but the overall real-world impact of CPF on QoL.(3)
Takeda provided editorial support in the development and distribution of the survey and analysis of data, and funded medical writing of the publication of results.
This video is intended for an international audience (ex-US).
