While in Bordeaux in April, for the en-primeur tastings, Wine-Searcher's Wine Director, David Allen MW, attended the UGC's tasting of the wines of Pauillac and the Medoc the tasting was staged in the slightly surreal setting of the vat room at Chateau Lynch Bages in Pauillac. The tasting takes place on a screen floor above the fermenting vats.
