The film was shot in 2014 and is the document of the work of an berlin based multidisciplinary art project who's main intention is to create the symbiosis of movement, space, light and sound in a continual dialogue between the arts.
Visuals made with overhead projectors, live performed electronic music and contemporary dance in a setting build with semipermeable sreens are the tools of expression that were captured in this short movie. ''Buddha's Kiss'' tells the mystic story of a journey to the inside itself and about the shadows you will meet on the way…
The collaboration started in 2013 for the music video 'into the unknown' which was also directed by Stephan Stoll. The groups appeared in two different storylines and shortly after the release they joined together in one performance which was presented at Transmediale Berlin. In April 2014 Nitzsche & Hummel were funded by Deutscher Musikrat and got the oppertunitiy to produce this video.
