The Greater Blue Mountains Area is a fantastic UNESCO World Heritage Site in Australia. Located just west of Sydney, this large UNESCO site consists of eight connected national parks. Because the continent of Australia was isolated from the rest of the world for millions of years, the plants and animals here are almost entirely unique. The Blue Mountains area is home to some spectacular examples.
Come along as we check out the most famous areas of the Blue Mountains, including the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Katoomba, Wentworth Falls, the Grose Valley, Govett's Leap and the Wollemi Pine. We also look at how things are recovering after the Australia bushfires of 2019 and 2020. Let's go!
