A major super winter storm will spread heavy snow and blizzard conditions through the Rockies, Plains and upper Midwest, and snow and ice from the Great Lakes into parts of the Northeast. The storm has been named Winter Storm Olive by The Weather Channel. Significant impacts are expected with a increasing concern for a crippling ice storm across the great lakes and northeast. Not only that strong winds and heavy snow will lead to blizzard conditions across the northern Rockies and northern plains.
