This video demonstrates how to configure your splicer to improve splice results by utilizing a special feature when working with 900µm loose buffered fibers. We also show you options available that help to configure the manual operation of your 90S fusion splicer. These steps only apply to the 90S fusion splicer by Fujikura. Older models require special fiber holders (e.g. FH-60-LT900) which create a different method of proper splicing with loose buffer fibers. All products are available at Simbol Test Systems.
