If you're thinking about moving out of your parent's house then you're probably asking yourself "how much rent can I afford?" Budgeting for an apartment isn't easy. There's a lot of expenses that go with moving out. You have to pay the first and last month's rent up from. Put down money as a security deposit for an apartment. You'll need an emergency fund. Apartment rental costs are way up in 2022 and you need a plan on how you're going to afford living on your own. This is adulting 101. In this video we help you calculate a rent budget based on your income which tells you how much apartment you can afford and still have money for everything else. The cost of living in America is very expensive, but it's still manageable even if you're only making minimum wage and working full time.
