I have had a lot of people reach out about towing with my 1st gen Cummins. A few have said I should not pull with that truck for various reasons and if I can't sure the truck why even have it? With that said, I have to say towing is like not towing with my truck. You hardly know anything is behind you. The truck is not fast with or with out a trailer. I know with some mods such as taller tires I could go faster, but with how mine is set up it is happy at around 65 mph or less. I can hit in the 70s but it feels like I am really pushing it. For this video I was towing the 1972 Chevy Nova SS. I would say with the car and trailer it weighed in at around 6000 pounds. The truck did not care it was behind it and never struggled. This truck is a dream to tow with. I even got to use the train horn while towing when I was cut off. I hope you like the videos on the 1991 Dodge Ram W250 Cummins with the 5 speed. It really is the GOAT and if you can get your hands on one I think you should. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you on the next one.
