Sancocho Dominican aka Dominican Sancocho is a traditional Dominican soup/stew that's usually made with 7 meats. However, today I'm going to use 5 meats. Nonetheless, this authentic Dominican Recipe is still easy to follow and amazing + delicious. This soup/stew is perfect to have on a cold day or whenever you have a lot people coming over. Ingredients: Meats
1 ½ lbs Beef Ribs
1 ½ lbs Chuck Steak
1 ½ lbs Chicken
1 lbs Smoked Pork Chops
1 ½ lbs Pork Chops
Ingredients: Viveres
2 Yautia Blanca
1 Ñame
2 Yuca
2 Platanos
2 ½ lbs Auyama
Ingredients: Meat Marinade
1 Onion
1 Green Pepper
1 Head of Garlic
4 Sprigs of Thyme
2 tbs DR Orégano
Black Pepper to Taste
3 ½ tbs Sopita- Chicken Bouillon Cube
1 cup Sour Oranges
Olive Oil
Ingredients: Stew
2 tbs Sopita
2 Onions
1 Green Pepper
½ Orange Pepper *optional
1 Cup Recao
6 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
