In this video, I share my 90-day Pilates transformation journey with you. After feeling stuck in my workout routine and unhappy with my body's appearance, I decided to try reformer Pilates. However, the cost was too high for me to attend classes consistently. So, when the pandemic hit, I started doing mat Pilates at home and discovered many affordable online options that changed my life.
My goal was to get back into a consistent workout routine that I enjoyed and that made me feel good while slimming down and getting those long, lean Pilates muscles. To achieve my goals, I focused on clean nutrition and ate in a calorie deficit of around 500 calories per day, while getting 20 to 30 grams of protein per meal. I also allowed myself the occasional treat when I wanted.
During my journey, I tried different Pilates routines from Move With Nicole, Callie Jardine, and Sanne Vloet. Move with Nicole's workouts were calming and low-impact, Callie Jardine's Pilates workouts were more energetic and upbeat with more resistance training, and Sanne Vloet's workouts gave me a good balance of resistance and calmness. I share my experience with each of these workouts in this video and link to my other videos in the description below.
