I've said before that most of the scoring in golf happens inside 100 yards. Today, I put that theory to the test by visiting my old stomping grounds: Stanley Park Pitch & Putt in Vancouver, Canada. There's not a better way to test your pitching, chipping, and putting than playing 18 consecutive holes that are 100 yards or less!
My pitching left a lot to be desired today - I only hit 7 out of 18 greens in regulation. I chipped very well, which allowed me to escape the day only 5 over par.
I plan to play pitch & putt throughout the Summer and document my progress. I hope to go under par and capture it for you soon!
