This is one of my first videos and you will note a lift in the quality of later ones but I love to help people and so I try to explain garage spring replacement simply. My garage door is big and heavy so for the springs to lift it, even when the door is closed the springs needed to be under tension to work, this hopefully will not be the case in your situation making your DIY project a whole lot simpler and safer.
P.S. in 2022 the door is still perfectly aligned and I've not had any issues.
