In this workshop, we will go through how to look for and download data about species occurrence from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) using the rgbif package for R. We will also show you how to do basic data manipulation and plotting using tidyverse, and finally we will create an interactive map of the occurrence data using leaflet.
