Kuu (空) is a Japanese word that describes "void", "emptiness" and "sky". This is one of the 5 elements of Japanese philosophy, Godai (五大), originated from Japanese Buddhism.
EARTH (地 chi),
WATER( 水 sui/ka),
FIRE(火 hi/ka) ,
WIND (風 fuu/kaze)
VOID (空, kuu/sora)
Kuu (空) is the "empty space" beyond our "linear time & physical space". This is the eternal space, where we can connect to our unlimited potentials and possibilities. Creativity, Inspiration, Mystic experiences are born. We are in a state of bliss and peace. It is the state without our conceptual thought.
How can we be in this state of Kuu, void?
I explain this further in this talk.
This is the sevens episode of "5 minutes on Japanese Wisdom" by Azumi Uchitani, once a week, introducing the Japanese life philosophy that brings inner peace.
