Negotiation is an opportunity to create the future we dream of professionally and personally.
Participants will gain valuable insights into their tendencies in negotiation, conflict, and difficult conversations.
Further, they will now have a tools box of concepts, assessments, design ideas and personal awareness to draw from.
Once we understand our tendencies and how we create our own performance gaps, we may then evolve our negotiations to better outcomes.
This is a huge opportunity for all of us to learn. While participants can, like me, become a life long student of negotiation, they are encouraged to take small, specific steps to build their skills and successes.
A key element is understanding that being nice is not useful; being clear and committed to your organizational and personal interests by setting your boundaries will propel you to focus on what matters most (and leave the distractions and power plays to the less skilled).
