Original title: Nakupovanje brez plastike
Every person in Slovenia generates a hundred kilograms of packaging waste per year, 22 percent of which is plastic. Since the early 20th century, plastic has been the most widely used material on the planet and, with only 30 % of it being recycled, it has become one of the major environmental problems. Almost all stores in Slovenia sell some products with no packaging. But there are no stores where one could only buy items without excess packaging. Calls for reducing the use of plastic have been going on for years, but can we avoid it on our everyday shopping trips?
