Ukhrul (Manipur), Aug 3 (ANI): Manipur contributes a great deal to the handloom and handicrafts with its distinct cultural aesthetics and traditional fabrics. A weaver, Julie Horam, a proprietor of Y. R. Chon Handloom Weaving cum Handicraft Centre in Ukhrul District, is promoting the rich legacy of the Tangkhul community - one of the biggest tribes in Manipur. Julie is one of the few artisans involved in making rare traditional handloom fabrics of Tangkhul in Manipur adorned with embroidered motifs.
