The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on a nationwide dharna against the alleged post-election violence by Trinamool Congress workers in West Bengal. This protest are being held while following all Covid-19 protocols across all organisational mandals of the party.
On the other hand, Mamata Banerjee was sworn-in on Wednesday as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for a third consecutive term. Banerjee was administered the oath of office by Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Raj Bhavan in a low-key ceremony held amid the raging second wave of Covid-19.
