British photographer Jamie Hawkesworth and Alistair O’Neill, professor of fashion history and theory at Central Saint Martins, London, discuss a group of previously unpublished photographs from a body of work in development by Hawkesworth, a mix of portraits and landscapes that offers a fragmented picture of the twenty-first-century world. The photographs are featured in Aperture 246, “Celebrations.”
