This episode features the missing person: Peter Lee Park who was given up for adoption in 1983 and has never been traced by family since. This appeal request was received by family of Peter in the hope Peter can come forward and be re-united with his birth mother- Catherine Ann Park.
Missing Mysteries aims to bring awareness about missing people from across the UK. Missing people are identified by researching timelines of events and police reports as well as public family and friend accounts, leading up to and following their disappearance. 242,190 people were recorded as missing by police in England in Wales between 2015-2016. A person is recorded as missing every 2 minutes. Of those, 79% who go missing will return or be found within 24 hours. 2% are found within a week, the rest have never been found.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
