China has unveiled its boldest hydropower ambition yet—a dam so massive it is touted as the World’s Largest!

Planned on the Brahmaputra River, or Yarlung Tsangpo as it's known in Tibet, this $137 billion megaproject near the Indian border has sparked concerns across South Asia.

As per reports, the dam is planned to be constructed at a massive gorge in the Himalayan region, where the Brahmaputra river makes a sharp U-turn before entering Arunachal Pradesh and flowing into Bangladesh.
