Canada's capital city Ottawa has declared a state of emergency Sunday as a trucker-led protest against vaccine mandates in the country entered its 11th day.
Thousands took the streets in multiple Canadian cities over the weekend but the so-called "freedom convoy" of truckers has become a menace in the capital - blocking city streets, blaring their hooters while disrupting traffic.
Canada's Government has refused to back down after imposing the vaccine mandate for the trucking industry last month under which unvaccinated Canadian truckers re-entering Canada from the United States must get tested for COVID-19 and quarantine themselves.
