In the latest episode of CV Academy's Ask the Coach series, Chelsea FC Under-18 assistant coach James Simmonds answers a selection of viewers' questions.

Here, he talks about his experiences as a player going through the Glenn Hoddle Academy, and how the coaches we worked with there have shaped his own coaching style. As a coach who has worked with Chelsea first-team players including Mason Mount and Reece James, he is in a good position to talk about how coaches can spot young talent and identify when they are ready for first-team football. Finally, he talks through a practice he has designed to help teams build patterns of play that can work to beat a low block.
