A vibrant 25000 residents strong community,. This neighbourhood has a rich heritage with even its name coming from the Blackfoot First Nation term used for ‘rock.’ It is believed that the name came from the Big Rock, located 7 km from here, the largest glacial erratic in these parts that is a huge tourism draw. This rock was used by the First Nations tribes to find their way around these parts.
