We've had a crazy past week of things going on both here at home in the United States and abroad, in Barcelona. As you're praying for our country and Spain, would you add Orphan's Promise programs in those areas to your list?
THE WHOLE STORY:
Hi everyone! Well, we've had a crazy past week of things going on around the world, really. Things that need prayer for, both here at home in the United States, what happened in Barcelona recently.
You know, Orphan's Promise has domestic projects. We also have project, anti-trafficking projects in Spain. So, as you're praying for our country and as you're praying for Spain, for the world, would you add Orphan's Promise to your list and the projects that we have that reach out to orphaned and vulnerable children in many, many countries.
In fact, while we're together, let's just pray right now and ask God to do something amazing. Well Jesus, you are the Prince of Peace, and so we're asking you to bring peace, God. We acknowledge that you are our answer. There is no one else who can solve the issues of our day. So, invade our hearts, give us wisdom, make us gentle as doves and wise as serpents as we speak out in your name. And we pray a special blessing on Barcelona, on the nation of Spain right now, on Charlottesville, Virginia, on many other places that are experiencing race issues around our own country, God.
Come, and be big, and bring resolution, bring the peace that only the Prince of Peace can bring. And we thank you, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
