Ukraine marks 30 years since Chernobyl on Tuesday, where the world's worst nuclear accident took place and forced a global reconsideration on the wisdom of relying on nuclear energy. A wreath laying ceremony was held in Kiev attended by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and other political leaders. Meanwhile, another service was held in the town of Slavutych, which was specifically built for those who were evacuated following the accident.
