To try to understand it better, we will first see the origin of the yakuza, then we will see over the centuries and decades the evolution of this underworld, until arriving at today with the new generation of yakuzas.
We will speak in particular about the great bosses and mafia yakuzas, such as Kazuo Taoka, Fumiko Taoka (one of the most famous yakuza women), Kakuji Inagawa, Susumu Ishii or Yoshio Kodama.
But also the big criminal syndicates in Japan, such as the Yamaguchi-gumi, the Inagawa-kai and the Sumiyoshi-kai.
